Sharjah24: To foster stronger connections between the Al Kharous Suburb Council, affiliated with Sharjah Department of Suburbs Affairs (SDSA), and the residents of Al Kharous, the Council launched the "Yalstna" initiative. This event brought council members and residents together to discuss important issues impacting the local community.
The meeting was led by Jumaa Al Mughni Al Hamoudi, Chairman of the Al Kharous Suburb Council, with the participation of Vice Chairman Abdullah Mohammed Sabaian and council members Abdullah Al Riyami and Omar Al Awni.
The event attracted a significant number of residents, who actively engaged in voicing their opinions and sharing their needs to enhance the quality of services in the area.
The “Yalstna” initiative represents a pivotal step in strengthening the relationship between the Al Khrouss Suburb Council and its residents. The initiative underscores the council’s dedication to fostering an interactive dialogue aimed at improving community living standards.
During the event, Jumaa Al Mughni Al Hamoudi expressed his deep gratitude to Sharjah’s wise leadership, headed by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for their continuous support of development and service projects benefiting the community.
He emphasised that these efforts are an essential component of Sharjah's progress across all sectors. He also commended the ongoing initiatives led by Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, aimed at ensuring the effective implementation of projects and services that improve the quality of life for residents.
Al Hamoudi highlighted the significance of the initiative, as an essential platform for direct communication with residents to understand their needs and feedback on public services. He assured attendees that the council places a high priority on their concerns and is committed to diligently forwarding them to the appropriate authorities in Sharjah for prompt resolutions.
The discussion also focused on several key areas, including the upgrade of public facilities, the improvement of road networks, and the enhancement of healthcare and education services. Residents submitted suggestions aimed at enhancing the quality of life in Al Kharous.
The interactive session received positive feedback from Al Kharous residents, who commended the council for organising such gatherings. Participants highlighted the importance of these events in fostering stronger connections between the council and the community.
Many residents also expressed their gratitude to Sharjah’s leadership for prioritising developmental and service projects in Al Kharous. They acknowledged these initiatives as a testament to the leadership’s dedication to enhancing the well-being and quality of life for citizens.
Concluding the event, Jumaa Al Mughni Al Hammoudi reaffirmed the council’s dedication to holding monthly meetings as part of its strategic plan to maintain open communication with the community. The council has committed to ongoing efforts to improve service levels in the area, collaborating with all relevant authorities in Sharjah.
