Sharjah Sports Council concludes Kalba Beach Games

Sharjah24: Sheikh Saeed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Chief of Sharjah Ruler’s Office in Khorfakkan, accompanied by Sheikh Haitham bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of the Office of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah in Kalba , attended the closing ceremony of the Fourth Kalba Beach Games on Saturday.
On Saturday, the Sharjah Sports Council wrapped up the competitions and events of the Fourth Kalba Beach Games, which took place at the Kalba Public Beach Park from November 8 to 16.

The closing ceremony was attended by Sheikh Saeed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Sheikh Haitham bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Sheikh Hani bin Mohsen Al Bahrani, President of the Al Amerat Club in Oman, His Excellency Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, Vice Chairman Abdul Malik Jani, and a large number of heads of sports federations and clubs from various emirates.

Dr. Yasser Omar Al Dukhai, Chairman of the Events Committee at the Sharjah Sports Council and Director of the Games, stated that this edition witnessed significant public turnout throughout the week of competitions, featuring 23 sports and the largest participation of its kind, with nearly 4,000 male and female athletes competing in various sports.

Al Dukhai expressed his sincere thanks to the various partner, sponsoring, and supporting entities, including government and private institutions, as well as sports federations and clubs, noting that the collaboration of these different parties contributed to the successful achievement of the championship’s goals in a manner that was well received by everyone.
