Emirati athletes reach jiu-jitsu black belt finals

Sharjah 24: Emirati athletes Zayed Al Kathiri, Khaled Al Shehhi, and Asma Al Hosani have all secured spots in the final of the professional black belt category at the 16th Abu Dhabi World Jiu-Jitsu Championship.
Asma Al Hosani, representing Bani Yas Club, made history as the first Emirati woman to qualify for the black belt final, defeating France's Ina Grosset from the "School of Champs" Club in the 55 kg semi-final.

In the 62 kg semi-final, Khaled Al Shehhi of Al Ain Club triumphed over Ecuador's Enrique Guerrero from "Team Predator International."

Zayed Al Kathiri, from the Abu Dhabi Police Academy, also advanced to the final, overcoming Armenia's Rafael Kostanyan from Legacy Jiu-Jitsu Armenia in the 56 kg semi-final.
