Al Mazrouei expressed his deepest gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for his visionary leadership and strategic agricultural initiatives, noting that the achievement is the result of His Highness’s directives and unwavering support for cultivating olive and grape trees in Jabal Deem and for advancing the emirate’s agricultural environment.
Speaking to Sharjah24, Al Mazrouei said the launch attracted exceptional interest from residents and visitors seeking high-quality local produce. The first phase features grapes and pickled olives, grown at an altitude of 850 metres above sea level, where favourable climatic conditions have contributed to their superior quality and nutritional value.
He also praised the ongoing support and close follow-up from Dr Engineer Salah bin Butti Al Muhairi, Chairman of the Sharjah Initiatives Implementation Authority (Mubadara), as well as the efforts to ensure the efficient delivery of products to local retail outlets.
Al Mazrouei further revealed plans to introduce additional agricultural products in the coming period, such as olive oil and apples.
