Sharjah 24: Badr Al Jaaidi, Programme Manager at Friends of Cancer Patients, affiliated with the Health Promotion Department of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, stated that the Pink Caravan has started its first community activities in the Aljada area in Sharjah to provide early screening for breast cancer and raise community awareness during the month of October, which is the international month for breast cancer awareness.
He explained that the Pink Caravan provides 3 fixed clinics for 3 days in the Aljada area to provide medical examinations for women and men from 4 pm to 10 pm, calling on all members of society to benefit from these free examinations.
He told “Sharjah 24” that from October 11 to 30, there will be 8 permanent clinics affiliated with the Pink Caravan, distributed across all the emirates of the country, in “Al Majaz Waterfront” in Sharjah, “Mushrif Mall” in Abu Dhabi, “City Walk” in Dubai, and two clinics in “China Mall” in Ajman, one for women and the other for men, in addition to “Manar Mall” in Ras Al Khaimah, “Lulu Mall” in Fujairah, and “Mall of Umm Al Quwain” in Umm Al Quwain.
