FAPS hosts Ramadan's sessions for rheumatism and joint illness

Joint disease specialists from the Gulf Cooperation Council nations, as well as a significant number of community members and interested parties, attended the session led by Wahida Abdul Aziz, President of the Friends of Arthritis Patients Society (FAPS).

In an effort to increase community members' health awareness of arthritis diseases and to ensure effective communication with patients inside and outside the country, Wahida Abdul Aziz confirmed that the Ramadan session is part of a series of initiatives and programmes that the association has been keen to launch since the beginning of the holy month.

She noted that the society, which enjoys the support of Her Highness, Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed al-Qassimi, wife of the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairwoman of the SCFA and the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, works closely with other government entities to enhance the physical and mental well-being of people with arthritis.
