Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Police General Command, through its Community Police and Media and Public Relations Departments, organised a community initiative titled "Hearts That Never Age," targeting 25 senior citizens at the Al Asalah Club, in line with the International Day of Older Persons on October 1.
Major Alia Abdul Rahim Al Harmoudi, Director of the Partnerships and Community Communication Branch, emphasised the importance of this annual celebration, recognising the vital role of seniors in supporting sustainable development and transferring wisdom to younger generations. She noted that enhancing the status and quality of life for the elderly aligns with the UAE's commitment to their care and support.

The "Hearts That Never Age" initiative featured a variety of entertainment and interactive activities. It began with the national anthem, followed by folk performances by students from Sharjah Model School for Basic Education and a poetry recitation by Lieutenant Nada Al Shamsi.

The event concluded with the distribution of symbolic gifts to the seniors, who expressed their gratitude with joyful smiles, appreciating the community's gesture.
