This came during His Highness' review of the updates on the Integrated Real Estate Services Platform project on Wednesday morning, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, at the Ruler's Office.
His Highness stressed the need for government efforts to accelerate the qualitative shifts required by changes in modern technology and to ensure the sustainability of the development of services provided by the emirate to all customers, including citizens, residents, investors, and visitors.
The attendees were briefed on the project, which aims to provide a comprehensive and centralised digital platform for real estate services in the Emirate of Sharjah. It will allow relevant entities to offer their services on a single platform, contributing to reliable and accurate information about the real estate sector in the emirate.
The project will help unify and connect systems, create a unified technical environment rich in information, enhance the accuracy of real estate data by providing a comprehensive view of the real estate market for decision-makers and beneficiaries, and govern real estate procedures to ensure the project's goals are achieved. It will also improve the digital experience for real estate market customers.
The presentation highlighted the role of the real estate system, which will bring about a fundamental change to elevate Sharjah to the ranks of the world’s top cities, in terms of real estate practices and solutions, commitment to transparency, and promoting effective partnerships to achieve the desired objectives and facilitate business operations.
The integrated real estate services platform will cater to the needs of users within the comprehensive system, addressing their challenges through market-driven services. It will enhance quality of life and peace of mind by providing a trusted platform for real estate services in Sharjah, offering transparency in activities and a high level of service within the sector. The platform will also provide a seamless and user-friendly experience, connecting all key stakeholders in the real estate sector, including international investors.
The platform, scheduled for initial launch in December of this year, will create a comprehensive real estate ecosystem offering a range of service packages. These include a "Transactions Package" that covers sales, purchases, rentals, financing, and mortgages, and a "Post-Transactions Package" that includes services such as rental dispute resolution and linking properties with service providers. Additionally, the platform will support business owners, including developers and real estate projects, by facilitating licenses and real estate professions and offering informational guides.
The presentation was attended by Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Director General of Sharjah Digital Office; Asma Rashid bin Taliah, Secretary-General of the Executive Council; Engineer Lamia Al Hosani Al Shamsi, Director of Sharjah Digital Office; and Ahmed Hamad Al Suwaidi, Assistant Secretary-General of the Executive Council.
