Sharjah 24: Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club organised an entertainment event for the elderly titled "You Are in the Eyes of the Nation," in collaboration with the Social Services Department in Dibba Al Hisn. This celebration, held on October 1st, coincides with the International Day of Older Persons and reflects the club's commitment to community participation in various initiatives.
The event was attended by Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Mutawa Al Hindasi, Chairman of the Club's Board of Directors, Mohammed Abdullah Rashid Al Taraban Al Hamoudi, Chairman of the Dibba Al Hisn Football Club, Abdullah Mohammed Subaian, Director of the Social Services Department Branch, along with other board members.
This initiative is part of a series of activities aimed at fostering social bonds and engaging with the community. The event featured heritage performances and recreational games, attracting a large number of seniors from the city. To express gratitude and appreciation, participants were honoured with souvenirs at the conclusion of the event.
Dr. Al Mutawa emphasised the club's dedication to playing a significant role in community initiatives, highlighting the importance of honouring the elderly as vital pillars of society who have made considerable sacrifices to build future generations.
