The workshop aimed to enhance safety awareness and instill a traffic culture among club members.
The workshop, held on Thursday, was presented by Assistant Officer Khalifa Mohammed Tamrouq Al Dhahouri from the Dibba Al Hisn Comprehensive Police Station. It covered several awareness topics, including the importance of adhering to traffic laws and the necessity of wearing safety equipment. It also highlighted the most prominent causes of bicycle accidents and ways to prevent them.
This contributed to raising participants' awareness of the dangers of these vehicles when misused.
In a parallel effort to enhance members' knowledge and educational experiences, the club organised a field visit to the Sharjah Aquarium. Participants had a unique interactive experience exploring the marine world and learning about marine organisms and their diverse environments. This added a rich environmental dimension, enhancing their awareness of wildlife and biodiversity.
The events also included recreational and sporting activities, as the club's indoor gymnasium hosted a variety of fun and beneficial activities, including traditional and sporting games, football, basketball, and karate competitions, as well as stationary cycling, swimming, and water sports, all within a safe and encouraging environment.
The event was attended by a number of club leaders, including His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al Tarban, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dibba Al Hisn Football Club, Ahmed Abdullah Al Qasib Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Organising Committee, Mohammed Ali Al Dhahouri, Chairman of the Club’s Cultural and Community Activities Committee, and Mohammed Obaid Jumaa Al Marzouqi, Member of the Club’s Board of Directors.
They emphasised the importance of this programme in directing the energies of young people towards constructive activities, and promoting the concepts of discipline, safety, and national belonging during their summer vacation.
