Sharjah 24: Two people were injured, with one suffering severe injuries, in a four-vehicle collision on Emirates Road on Tuesday evening, attributed to not maintaining a safe distance between vehicles.
According to reports, the accident prompted a swift response from police and the National Ambulance. A woman sustained moderate injuries, while another individual was critically injured and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Al Mandhari, Head of the Traffic and Patrols Department at Sharjah Police, emphasised that the primary cause of the accident was the failure to maintain a safe distance. He highlighted that inattention and inadequate spacing between vehicles often lead to serious accidents, resulting in significant harm and property damage.

Al Mandhari also stressed the importance of traffic safety awareness and adherence to established regulations to ensure the safety of all road users.
