SRTA launches the Road and Traffic Inspection Diploma

Sharjah 24: With the aim of enhancing the efficiency and quality of Sharjah infrastructure, Sharjah Road and Transport Authority (SRTA) launched the Professional Diploma Programme for Road and Traffic Inspection, in cooperation with the University of Sharjah.
Sultan Obaid Al Zaabi, Director of the Human Resources Department at SRTA, announced the launch of the first lecture of the Professional Diploma Programme specialised in Road and Traffic Inspection, on Tuesday, at the University of Sharjah, in cooperation with the university and Sharjah Department of Human Resources (SDHR), with the aim of enhancing the efficiency and quality of Sharjah transportation infrastructure.

Sultan Obaid Al Zaabi announced the launch of the Professional Diploma Programme for Road and Traffic Inspection. The programme was designed in cooperation with the University of Sharjah and SDHR to enhance the skills of employees and raise their efficiency in the field of road and traffic maintenance and management in line with the highest international standards.

Speaking exclusively to Sharjah 24, Sultan Obaid Al Zaabi stressed the importance of the programme in developing the professional skills of employees, stressing that the programme represents a strategic step to raise the efficiency of workers and provide more effective and safe services to road users in Sharjah, with a focus on road maintenance techniques, crack management, and basic traffic infrastructure.

Al Zaabi explained that the employees participating in the programme were carefully selected through tests developed by SDHR, in addition to the fact that the diploma will cover a wide range of topics, including road maintenance, types of asphalt, and methods of identifying types of cracks in roads, in coordination with the teaching staff at the University of Sharjah to ensure that the educational content is compatible with practical needs.

Al Zaabi added that the programme lasts for a full academic year, during which participants receive intensive training that combines theory and practice, enabling them to work efficiently in the field and make valuable contributions to improving the quality of road and transportation infrastructure in Sharjah.
