Sharjah 24: In celebration of Emirati Women’s Day, the Department of Culture, through the Dibba Al Hisn City Office, held a dialogue session titled "Emirati Women: Sustainable Achievements and Global Ambition" at the Cultural Centre on Wednesday.
The session featured Dr. Moza Obaid Ghobash, a trailblazer in UAE education, and Ahmed Al Nadher Al Falasi, a sociologist and Emirati role model. The discussion was moderated by media personality Amani Al Shehhi.
Attendees included Ahmed bin Yarouf, Chairman of the Municipal Council of Dibba Al Hisn City; Suleiman Jumaa, Chairman of the Dibba Al Hisn City Council; and Mohammed Saleh Al Suwaiji, Director of the Eastern Region Department at the Department of Culture, among other officials and residents.
Dr. Wafaa Al Ghoul, Director of the Dibba Al Hisn Office, told "Sharjah 24" that the session aimed to highlight Emirati women’s achievements since the union's inception and included honouring outstanding women from Dibba Al Hisn.
Dr. Moza Ghobash emphasised the remarkable progress of Emirati women, from early education to prominent positions, attributing their success to decades of support from the nation’s leadership. She encouraged women to uphold their national identity and traditions while balancing their professional and personal lives.
