Sharjah 24: Dr. Muhadditha Al Hashemi, Chairperson of Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), announced that government nurseries in Sharjah will begin welcoming children on Monday, September 2nd. There are 33 nurseries across the emirate, including the eastern and central regions and Sharjah City, which have been expanded following the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
Dr. Al Hashemi noted that these expansions, carried out in cooperation with the Public Works Department, are part of the ongoing efforts to accommodate more children. During visits to several nurseries, she confirmed their readiness for the new academic year and highlighted that 2,659 children have already been registered.
In her closing remarks, Dr. Al Hashemi wished everyone a successful academic year and encouraged them to take full advantage of the facilities available in the government nurseries.
