Dr. Maryam Al Marashda, a former Sharjah Consultative Council member and Dean of Student Affairs at United Arab Emirates University, lauded Emirati women's achievements in a variety of sectors, particularly education.
She emphasised that, with wise leadership, Emirati women have achieved significant educational milestones, contributing to the country's educational standards and quality of life.
Mariam Obaid Al Zaabi, principal of Djamila Bouhired Secondary School for Girls in Kalba, spoke about the importance of education in empowering Emirati women. She praised the UAE leadership, including the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, for their significant efforts to encourage and empower women.
