Al Mutaiwei Claims Silver at Asian Track Championships in Thailand

Sharjah 24: National team cyclist Mohammad Al Mutaiwei won the silver medal in the individual pursuit race at the Asian Track Championship, which began today, Wednesday, in Thailand and will continue until next Friday.

Al Mutawaei set a new UAE record with a time of 4:29.7 minutes for 4 km, averaging 53 km/h. He finished just behind Korea's Park Sang, who recorded 4:25.9 minutes. Kazakhstan’s Maxim took third place.

The UAE team is participating with seven cyclists across various categories, representing the country in both men's and women's events as well as in youth races.
