Sharjah 24: Adel Khaled, Al Hamriyah's Olympic modern sailing player, is set to compete in the European Open Championship in Berlin, Germany, from August 29 to September 1, 2024.

Adel Khaled expressed his readiness to take on this new challenge, just 10 days after winning gold and bronze in the Swedish Championship. He thanked the Board of Directors of Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club, led by Humaid Al Shamsi, for their continuous support and dedication to the modern sailing programme.

Al Hamriyah team coach, Captain Najib Pasha, emphasised the significance of Khaled’s participation in such high-level championships to further enhance his skills by competing against world champions.
