Dibba Al Hisn Parents Council holds “My Skill lies in My Story”

Sharjah 24: In preparation for the academic year 2024-2025, Dibba Al Hisn Parents Council, affiliated with Sharjah Districts Affairs Department (SDAD), in cooperation with the Dibba Al Hisn Public Library, organised, on Wednesday, "My Skill lies in My Story" programme.
The programme aimed to review students' linguistic knowledge after the summer vacation and enhance their reading and writing skills in Arabic in preparation for the new academic year, based on the SDAD strategic goal of achieving the principle of government community partnership between school, family and society.

The programme's activities were attended by Mohammed Rashid Rushoud Al Hamoudi, Chairman of Dibba Al Hisn Parents Council; members of the Educational and Teaching Committee of the Council; and a number of stakeholders.

A number of parents and teachers participated in the programme, in the presence of Dibba Al Hisn Public Library employees. The programme falls within the activities of the Educational and Teaching Committee, within the plan aiming to support positive learning among students, within the challenges of the educational field

The programme included a number of educational and cultural workshops using illustrated stories and explaining their basics to children, taking into account methods that support reading and writing, under the supervision of teacher Mona Ibrahim Bin Yarouf.

In the same context, recreational workshops were presented for students of the foundation stage, with the help of their parents and under the supervision of Sheikha Al Hindasi, Maryam Al Maamari, and Naima Al Watri.
