Sharjah 24: Dibba Al Hisn Parents Council affiliated with Sharjah Department of Suburbs Affairs (SDSA), organised the “Ramadan Majlis - Ramadan Through Time programme”, with the aim of strengthening family cohesion during the holy month of Ramadan and raising awareness of the importance of positive societal values.
The aim of the “Ramadan Majlis - Ramadan Through Time programme”is to strengthen family and community ties during the holy month of Ramadan, in accordance with the programme’s visions of raising awareness of positive values and traditions in society, and encouraging families to build a stimulating educational environment that enhances family cohesion and promotes positive values between Family members within the framework of the goals and objectives of SDSA, which contributes to building distinguished personalities capable of making a positive contribution to the development of society and the nation.

The programme was opened by Mohammed Rashid Rashoud Al Hamoudi, Chairman of Dibba Al Hisn Parents Council, and the ceremony was attended by members of the Federal National Council (FNC), in addition to members of the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC), directors of departments and institutions, community members, and parents.

The programme was organised at Dibba Al Hisn Council of SDSA, and included a lecture entitled “Ramadan is a Harvest of Values” presented by lecturer Saif Ali Al Mutawa.

The lecture discussed many important aspects, including how to instill authentic values in the hearts of children during the month of Ramadan, and the importance of focusing on positive behaviours such as performing prayers, reciting the Quran, and giving charity.

During the lecture, the ethical aspects that contribute to building the Emirati character and consolidating the principles of tolerance, cooperation, giving and volunteering were discussed.
