Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Department of Human Resources (SDHR) hosted the "Atayeb (delicacies)" event for the home-based businesses of the "Intaj (production)" Centre, in collaboration with the Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD). This initiative aligns with the department's role in promoting social responsibility and supporting economically empowering home-based businesses.
The promotional event was held at the department's main office in Al Layyah and its branch in Al Dafin, serving as a marketing platform that highlights these emerging projects by Emirati families. Several small and medium-sized business owners showcased their productive experiences through a wide range of homemade foods, baked goods, and sweets.
Through this collaboration, the department aims to encourage various community groups to contribute meaningfully, support home-based businesses in achieving economic stability by diversifying their income sources, and motivate low-income families to explore production avenues. It also seeks to highlight their creative abilities in promoting their own projects, enabling them to achieve financial independence and confidently participate in the productive labor market.
