Strong competition in Tahnoon Bin Mohammed camel race at Al Dhaid

Sharjah24: On Saturday morning, August 10, there was a big camel race event at the Al Dhaid Camel Racing Field. It was the start of the Sheikh Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan Competition for the camels of the tribesmen, organized and monitored by the Sharjah Camel Racing Club.
The race consisted of 20 rounds covering a distance of 3 kilometers.

In the race, Saba came in first place in the first round with the best time of 4 hours, 41 minutes, and 0 seconds.

The second round, Al Dhaby, for Salem Rashid Dugheish Al Ketbi,

The third round, Tawfiq, for Harb Juma bin Subaih Al Falasi,

The fourth round, Al Shahem, for Hamad Awad Musabah Al Ketbi,

The fifth round, Samha, for Saeed Ali Mubarak Al Ramli,

The sixth round, Mashkel, for Rashid Obaid Ali Al Mayala,

The seventh round, Al Hazra, for Faisal Sultan Rashid Al Tunaiji,

The eighth round, Barq, for Rashid Musabah Ali Al Dahmani,

The ninth round, Luck, for Abdullah Hamad Humaidi Al Khasouni,

The tenth round, Al Shahama, for Hamad Awad Musabah Al Ketbi,

The eleventh round, Wasayef, for Salem Kasab Khalifa Al Masafari,

The twelfth round Shaheen for Saif Ali Saeed Al Ketbi,

The thirteenth round Asrar for Ghurair Mohammed Ghanem Al Ketbi,

The fourteenth round Mattafi for Ahmed Rashid Al-Hadfi Al Ketbi,

The fifteenth round Risala for Obaid Hamed Khalifa Al Tunaiji,

The sixteenth round Mughammar for Mohammed Rashid Hamid Al Khasouni,

The seventeenth round Mood for Rashid Muhair Saeed Mohammed Al Ketbi,

The eighteenth round Kafu for Abdullah Saeed Rashid Al Shamti,

The nineteenth round Wajl for Mansour Ghurair Mohammed Al Ketbi,

The twentieth round Triyaq for Mohammed Hamad Saeed Al Mansouri.

Matar Ali Bin Howaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, emphasized that the late Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, was a strong supporter of camel racing. He showed great interest and care for this sport and camel owners throughout his life.

He mentioned that the badge competitions at the Dhaid field saw a large number of camel owners and their camels participate, creating a high level of excitement and competition.
