Sharjah 24: His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, issued an administrative decision, on August 13, 2024, regarding the formation of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Camel Racing Club.
The decision stipulated that the Board of Directors of Sharjah Camel Racing Club shall be formed under the chairmanship of Abdullah Mohammed bin Howaiden Al Ketbi, and the membership of each of:
1. Khalid Matar Obaid Al Tunaiji.
2. Khalifa Mohammed Ali Al Ketbi.
3. Salem Rashid Muhyan Al Ketbi.
4. Salem Muhair Saeed Al Ketbi.
5. Ali Mohammed Balrasheed Al Ketbi.
6. Mohammed Khamis Balsoub Al Ketbi.
7. Mohammed Obaid Hamed Al Tunaiji.
8. Mohammed Awad Khasouni Al Ketbi.
The BoD shall distribute administrative positions among its members at its first meeting. The BoD shall elect a Vice President by consensus or by direct secret ballot. The term of membership in the BoD shall be four years, renewable for a similar term or terms starting from the date of issuance of this decision.
The BoD shall continue to carry out its work upon the expiration of its term until a new BoD is formed or the expired Board is renewed.
