Sharjah24: The Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD) sponsors the "Noon" project, to which Sharjah Charity International has contributed AED 100,000 in financial support as part of its community support and social duty.
This contribution is intended to assist educational initiatives for persons in need of social care, as well as children from low-income families who have previously been denied access to education owing to social circumstances, as well as to cover unpaid tuition for those who are unable to pay.

Sandia Abdulrahman, Acting Director of the Community Cohesion Department at the Social Services Department, received the cheque from Mohammed Ibrahim bin Nassar, Director of Corporate Communication and Marketing at Sharjah Charity International, on Thursday at the department's headquarters.

Mohammed bin Nassar stated that through the "Noon" initiative, the charity continues to support students associated with all service institutions, particularly the Social Services Department, which plays a crucial role in helping those who lack access to education and cannot afford school fees.

Bin Nassar further stated that this support is a continuation of the nonprofit organization's ongoing efforts to acknowledge its role and social duty. He noted that this is not the first engagement between the two groups; the charity has offered financial support totalling AED 2 million over the last three years (2022/2023/2024).

Sandia Abdulrahman, the acting director of the Community Cohesion Department at the Social Services Department, thanked Sharjah Charity International for its generous support of the "Noon" project. She emphasised that this funding demonstrates the two entities' excellent collaboration and underscores the charity's influential social role in improving the quality of services and care offered to the department's beneficiaries.
