Sharjah 24: Sharjah Charity International’s Board of Directors held a meeting on Wednesday, reviewing the Eid Al Adha campaign results, including donations that helped implement several humanitarian initiatives, other initiatives to be implemented in the future, and in terms of the number of direct beneficiaries, which reached nearly half a million beneficiaries, including about a quarter of a million within the “Udhyah” project.

Chaired by Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairman of SCI’s Board of Directors, the board reviewed the report on the country's mosques project, including mosques currently under construction and others scheduled for construction in the coming period.

The results of partnership programs with several entities were also reviewed during the meeting. The entities included Dubai Islamic Bank and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank. The collaboration achieved positive results that helped fund the Zakat Al-Mal project budget and enabled the implementation of several humanitarian initiatives both inside and outside the country.

The board reviewed the “Al Qasimia Schools” initiative and affirmed the success of the SCI and Al Qasimia University partnership in supporting it. The board expressed its heartfelt gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for his continuous support for the charitable and humanitarian work in Sharjah.
