Ali Mohammed Al Rashidi, Head of the External Projects and Aid Sector at the association, explained that SCI adopted the project based on its belief that genuine charitable work is not limited to providing immediate assistance, but also includes building community capacities and creating sustainable sources of income that ensure dignity and stability for beneficiary families.
Al Rashidi added that SCI has undertaken to provide 240 containers designated for collecting paper waste from various areas in preparation for the recycling phase. The project is expected to serve as a source of income for the families participating in it.
He noted that the initiative falls within the SCI's charitable projects, which aim to provide ongoing support for programmes dedicated to the care of orphans and their families.
