Sharjah24: Dr. 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐛𝐮𝐳𝐚𝐢𝐝, Associate Professor of Diagnostic Imaging and Medical Radiation Science at the University of Sharjah (UOS) announced the launch of the new "Master of Science in Diagnostic Medical Imaging" program within the College of Health Sciences at the University of Sharjah, which is now open for student enrollment.
He revealed that the College of Health Sciences at the University of Sharjah is prepared to offer the new "Master of Science in Diagnostic Medical Imaging" program, which has recently been accredited by the Ministry of Education, stressing that this program is unique in the Middle East and is the only one of its kind in the region.

Dr. 𝐀𝐛𝐮𝐳𝐚𝐢𝐝 highlighted in an exclusive statement to "Sharjah24" that the new program places a strong emphasis on three key areas: computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and ultrasound imaging. The program aims to improve the skills of professionals in diagnostic radiology, with a focus on delivering excellent healthcare. This program is highly regarded as a groundbreaking and exceptional initiative in this field, which is rarely seen in the region.

According to Dr. 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐛𝐮𝐳𝐚𝐢𝐝, the program will offer flexible scheduling options, including evening and weekend classes. This will enable working professionals to continue their studies without having to interrupt their work commitments. Students will have the opportunity to receive practical training in the country’s hospitals, allowing them to gain valuable hands-on knowledge.

The University of Sharjah has recently achieved British accreditation from the Royal College of Radiologists, demonstrating its dedication to academic excellence. This accreditation ensures that graduates of the program will receive the same level of education as their counterparts from British universities in the field of radiology.
