Sharjah24: Sheikh Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Ruler’s Office, attended the annual event of the Sudanese Social Center in Sharjah, celebrating the achievements of Sudanese creatives, exceptional high school students, and university graduates. The event was hosted by the Sudanese Social Center in Sharjah at Al Zahra Hall, located in the Women's College at the University of Sharjah, on Thursday evening.
The ceremony began with the rendition of the national anthems of the United Arab Emirates and Sudan, followed by recitations from the Holy Quran. Subsequently, a visual demonstration highlighted the Sudanese Social Center’s program to recognize and celebrate talented individuals and students.
At an event hosted by the Sudanese Social Centre in Sharjah, Eng. Omar Ahmed Khojali, Head of the Sudanese Social Centre and Head of the Sudanese Community in Sharjah, delivered a speech expressing profound gratitude to the leadership of the UAE for their unwavering support and care towards the Sudanese community. He specifically highlighted the significant impact of the UAE's support on the Sudanese people, particularly the efforts of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, in establishing and consistently supporting the centre and its various activities.

In his speech, the Sudanese Social Center leader recognised the accomplishments of students and innovators, offering congratulations and best wishes for their academic achievements. He also expressed appreciation for the parental support that has played a key role in the student's success and exceptional performance.
He congratulated Sudanese employees and creatives who received professional excellence awards in various categories, including centre activities, literary production, scientific achievement, media, and sports.

Dr. Awab Musaed gave a speech showing appreciation to the Chairman and Board Members of the Sudanese Social Center in Sharjah for their annual recognition of outstanding and innovative individuals. He emphasized the positive influence of the initiative in promoting academic and professional excellence within the community. The speech also recognized the significant role of parents and teachers in establishing an environment conducive to academic success and in promoting the continuous pursuit of creativity and knowledge.

The ceremony witnessed the presentation of a number of national musical pieces by artists Dr. Saad El-Din El-Tayeb and Louay Abdelaziz.
After the ceremony concluded, Sheikh Salem presented the Career Excellence Awards to Sudanese professionals in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the initiative to honour Sudanese innovators for the years 2023-2024. Mohammed Naeem Saad, a renowned artist and theatre director, was also recognized for his exceptional work. Additionally, the head of the Ruler's Office received a memento from the Sudanese Social Center in Sharjah.

During the event, outstanding graduates from secondary schools, universities, and colleges nationwide were honoured, including a student with the highest success rate among the recipients. Additionally, the victors of the Sudanese Social Center Awards in Sharjah received recognition.

The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Al Sadiq Sayed Ahmed, Deputy Consul General of Sudan in Dubai and the Northern Emirates; Engineer Omar Khojali, Head of the Sudanese Social Center and the Sudanese Community in Sharjah; Counselor Murtada Al-Zila’i, Vice President of the Center; and various representatives of clubs and the Sudanese Business Council in the UAE. A large assembly of the honorees’ families and community members also attended the ceremony.
