Sharjah24: Sharjah Media City "Shams" has launched the "Shams Summer Programme," which runs from July 28 to August 8. The programme is designed to enhance children's mental, social, and recreational skills through intensive training workshops that blend fun and education in a safe and nurturing learning environment. Targeting children aged 6 to 16, the programme ensures activities and workshops are age-appropriate, providing valuable benefits to all participants. This age group has been carefully chosen to maximise the benefits of the programmes and foster comprehensive development during this critical life stage.
Shams aims to support future generations by developing their thinking, shaping their personalities, and honing their creative talents through its diverse programmes. The programme includes a range of educational and recreational workshops and activities, such as digital arts, allowing children to gain modern technical skills and express their creativity in innovative ways. It also includes workshops on drawing cartoon and anime characters, encouraging children to expand their imagination and artistic skills.

The programme features workshops on the basics of photography and mobile phone photography, giving children the chance to explore the world of photography and improve their skills. Drawing and colouring workshops add another layer of creativity and artistic expression, while the "Little Speaker" workshop helps children enhance their public speaking skills and build confidence.

Additionally, the programme offers interactive workshops in science and technology, including simple scientific experiments, programming workshops for children, and introductions to robotics. Educational field trips to museums, zoos, and science centres will also be organised to boost children's environmental and scientific knowledge.

We look forward to welcoming the children and offering them a unique and beneficial experience during the summer,” he stated.

The programme aims to achieve several objectives, including enhancing children's mental and creative skills through innovative educational programmes.
