Sharjah24: Sharjah Media City “Shams” has announced the launch of Shams X Troops Tournaments in collaboration with Alef Group, the leading real estate developer in Sharjah.
The weekly tournaments will take place at the ‘Troops’ Entertainment Centre at 06 Mall in Sharjah on June 8, June 15 and June 22 from 4pm to 10pm.
The e-sport tournaments are part of a series of events to strengthen Sharjah's position as a major hub for the gaming industry.
The games selected for the tournament are Super Smash Bros, Tekken 8 and many more.
Prizes of AED 1,500 will be offered weekly to the top three winners of the tournaments.
Those wishing to participate in the Shams X Troops Tournaments can register on Shams' Instagram account, "Shamsesports."
Sharjah Media City (Shams) and Alef Group had in May signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to organise e-sports events and collaborate on other sports-related initiatives.
