Shams, SPAA to build integrated production environment in Sharjah

During their meeting, they explored future partnership opportunities, particularly regarding the “Shams Studios” project. This exciting project is designed to create a top-notch environment for film and television production, aiming to support local talent while also attracting productions from around the region and beyond.

Al Obad highlighted that working with the Sharjah Performing Arts Academy aligns perfectly with Shams' goal to nurture the creative abilities of Emirati and Arab youth in the media and arts. He mentioned that Shams Studios will serve as a cutting-edge educational and production space, allowing students from the academy to gain hands-on experience in a real-world production setting.

Professor Peter Barlow expressed his enthusiasm about collaborating with Shams, noting that the Academy aims to form strong partnerships with leading media organizations. This collaboration will help achieve their goal of training a new generation of artists and media professionals who can innovate and succeed both locally and globally.
