Sharjah 24: Rashid Al Kindi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kalba Sports and Cultural Club, and Salem Mohammed bin Howiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club, observed the "Innovation and Entrepreneurship" competition, which was part of the fourth chapter of Sharjah Summer Sports' "Our Vacation is Different" programme.
The event was attended by members of the Kalba Sports and Cultural Club's board of directors, Dr Yasser Omar Al-Doukhi, Head of Sports and Community Events Department at Sharjah Sports Council, Head of the Sharjah Summer Sports Committee, and general supervisor.
Nine clubs competed in the tournament, which involved presenting files highlighting various club advancements. Al Bataeh Club finished first, followed by Khor Fakkan Sports Club in second and Kalba Club in third.
Best-performing clubs and government agencies received awards for their contributions to the competition. Clubs and players interacted and participated extensively in the competition.
Cybersecurity workshops, agricultural and plant preservation, leisure visits to Wasit Nature Reserve, Al Bataeh Municipality Nursery, and the Aquarium, and sports activities were also featured. The fifth and final week, "I am a volunteer," will begin with activities suited to participants' interests and skills.
