SSC organises talented players workshop at Al Bataeh Club

Sharjah 24: Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) hosted a workshop at Al Bataeh Cultural and Sports Club as part of its ongoing programme to support and nurture talented players across the emirate. The event brought together 90 participants, including young athletes, administrators, and program coordinators.

Expert-led presentations and discussions

The workshop was led by Waleed bin Mohammed Al Mashhout, Games Expert at the Sports Affairs and Development Department, and attended by key figures including Salem Al Habsi, Head of the Talented Players Section; Jassim Al Doukhi, Head of the Individual Games Section; and sports experts Imad Othman and Hassan Al Toumi.

Focus on professional mindset and programme requirements

Participants were briefed on the program’s general conditions, the responsibilities expected of talented players, and strategies for developing a professional mindset. The session also highlighted pathways to achieving outstanding results at international levels.

Positive engagement from attendees

The workshop saw active engagement from participants, with lively discussions and positive exchanges reflecting a strong commitment to the development of Sharjah’s sports talents.
