Sharjah 24: Al Bataeh Cultural and Sports Club celebrated the participants and winners for their remarkable success, strong participation, and achieving advanced positions in the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) 9th cultural competition.
The ceremony began with the national anthem of the United Arab Emirates, recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, and His Excellency Abdullah Sultan bin Salumah Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Cultural, Media and Community Committee, delivered the opening speech, in which he extended his thanks to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, for his unlimited support for cultural and sporting activities, in the emirate in general and in Al Bataeh Club in particular.
His Excellency Abdullah Sultan bin Salumah Al Ketbi’s speech was followed by playing a documentary on the club’s cultural team’s participation, and the honouring of the winners, participants, and the cultural committee’s team.
The honouring ceremony was attended by His Excellency Hamad Salem bin Hamouda Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Bataeh Cultural and Sports Club; His Excellency Abdullah Sultan bin Salumah Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Cultural and Media Committee; His Excellency Hamouda Thani Ali Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Individual Games Committee; His Excellency Salem Salim Bel Rasheed, Vice Chairman of the Club’s Cultural and Media Committee; and a remarkable number of people, public figures, members of Al Bataeh community, winners and participants.
His Excellency Hamad Salem bin Hamouda Al Ketbi praised the club’s participation in the ninth Sharjah Sports Council cultural competition and the achievement made by all the participants.
His Excellency Hamad Salem bin Hamouda Al Ketbi concluded by thanking the parents for attending and for directing their children to pursue the right path.
