The event is organised under the supervision of the Sports Affairs and Development Department at the Sharjah Sports Council, with close oversight by Ibrahim Saif bin Ghafan, Head of the Professionalism Section, and Tariq Bu Sunaineh from the same department. Both emphasised the championship’s role in nurturing young talent and promoting sportsmanship among the next generation of athletes.
In Group One, Al Bataeh achieved an impressive 4–0 victory over Al Madam on their home ground. Meanwhile, Al Dhaid triumphed 4–1 away against Sharjah Club. With these results, Al Bataeh tops the Group One standings, followed by Al Dhaid in second place, Sharjah third, and Al Madam fourth.
In Group Two, Kalba maintained its strong form with a 4–1 away victory over Mleiha, while Dibba Al Hisn beat Khorfakkan 6–3 in an exciting, high-scoring match. These results place Kalba at the top of Group Two, followed by Dibba Al Hisn in second, Khorfakkan in third, and Mleiha in fourth position.
The second round of matches will take place on Friday, 31 October, with Al Bataeh hosting Sharjah Club, and Al Dhaid visiting Al Madam in Group One fixtures. In Group Two, Kalba will face Dibba Al Hisn at home, while on Saturday, 1 November, Mleiha will host Khorfakkan in their next challenge.
