Sharjah 24: Rashid Abdullah Al Mahyan, chairman of the Central Region Parents Council, and Mohammed Abdullah bin Halis Al-Ketbi, chairman of the Municipal Council in Al-Bataeh, attended the opening ceremony of the summer program "Our Distinguished Holiday" at the Al-Bataeh Cultural and Sports Club.
Abdullah Sultan bin Salumah Al-Ketbi, Board Member and Chairman of the club's Cultural and Media Committee, delivered a speech during the ceremony expressing his heartfelt gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, for his unwavering support of cultural and sporting activities in the emirate, as well as to Al-Bataeh Club.
He also commended the Sharjah Sports Council for their ongoing support of programmes and activities across all clubs in the emirate, as well as their commitment to promoting great individuals within these clubs.
He stressed the necessity of summer activities for students to strengthen their abilities and make the most of their summer vacation.
Following his remarks, there were several entertaining segments and a video presentation that showcased the firms and entities involved in the summer programming.
At Al-Bataeh Cultural and Sports Club, the summer program "Our Distinguished Holiday" runs from July 1st to August 1st.
The administration of Al-Bataeh Club has decided to waive participation fees in accordance with His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah's directions to provide care and support to the club's members.
The Secretary-General, the Chairman of the Cultural and Media Committee, and council members all attended the event.
