Department of Housing launches its summer training programme

Sharjah Department of Housing launched the activities of its summer training programme Engineer of the Future” to raise students’ scientific awareness regarding engineering projects and empower them for a promising future, enhancing their skills and developing their knowledge in the fields of science and engineering. 

The programme comes out of Sharjah Department of Housing keenness and belief in caring for young people and the new generation, and creating an environment conducive to consolidating their culture of creativity and innovation. The programme continues its activities until the 25th of July, and includes many interactive workshops and educational lectures that highlight the principles of engineering in innovative ways, in addition to organising field visits and recreational trips.

The programme is divided into the design stage, the building materials stage, the construction supervision stage, and the maintenance stage. An applied workshop was conducted specifically for designing models of miniature housing using miniature bricks and cement mixture. 

Sharjah Department of Housing will award the participants with certificates of appreciation for their participation, and many valuable incentive prizes.
