Abdullah Khalaf Al Hosani, the Secretary General of the Holy Qur’an Academy, emphasized the significance of the manuscripts as invaluable archaeological artifacts. These manuscripts offer both visitors and academic scholars the unique opportunity to observe and gain insights into the historical, scientific, and calligraphic aspects of the Holy Qur’an.
The manuscripts in question encompass exceptionally rare copies, imbued with immense historical significance. Notably, the Holy Qur’an Academy safeguards a considerable collection of such rare manuscripts, demonstrating the Academy's unwavering commitment to their preservation and scholarly attention. This workshop is part of the Academy's mission to share Islamic knowledge, culture, and history with society and the world. It aims to promote knowledge, cultural exchange, and civilization in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. His vision emphasizes serving the Book of God and its sciences, preserving manuscripts, and all aspects related to the sciences and figures of the Holy Qur’an. The workshop aims to promote the transfer of knowledge related to manufacturing and restoring manuscripts, covering all the necessary stages in this unique field.
