Khorfakkan PC honors 30 outstanding high school students

Sharjah24: The Khorfakkan Parents Council, affiliated with the Department of Suburban Affairs, has recognized 30 exemplary high school students and 4 principals from third-cycle schools in Khorfakkan for the year 2024.
The event, which took place on Wednesday evening at the premises of the Cultural Center in Khorfakkan, was graced by the presence of Sami Ibrahim Al Badie, Chairman of the Council, and Mana Saeed Al Darmaki, Director of the Department of Parents’ Councils. The attendance included heads and directors of governmental departments and institutions in Khorfakkan, notable figures and residents of the city, as well as administrative and educational personnel, and parents.

The event commenced with an opening address by Abdullah Ahmed, the master of ceremonies, followed by a speech from Sami Al Badi, the Chairman of the Council, in which he expressed his gratitude to all the attendees and extended congratulations to the distinguished students for their accomplishments.

Al Badie emphasized the significance of backing education and fostering academic excellence. He conveyed his gratitude to the country's leadership for prioritizing education as a strategic initiative. Additionally, he extended his appreciation to the Suburbs Affairs Department for their consistent support of the Council and its various initiatives and programmes.

During his address representing school principals, Abdullah Al Badawi commended the Parents Council for their valuable support of the educational process and their efforts in fostering effective communication between schools and parents.

He also conveyed his profound appreciation for the collective endeavors in the region and extended his congratulations to the outstanding students who have excelled in their academic pursuits.

Following the event, Rashid Al Mansouri, a distinguished student, delivered a speech expressing his pride and gratitude for being honored. He conveyed his appreciation to his family, the school, and the council, commending the collective efforts that supported his educational journey and led to this accomplishment.

At the conclusion of the event, His Excellency Sami Al Badie, Mana Al Darmaki, and Bassam Al Naqbi, Vice President of the Council, recognized the exceptional students and principals.
