‘Heat exhaustion and diseases’ campaign visits Al Dhaid Club

Sharjah 24: Mohammed Al Zarouni, Director of the Ministry of Health and Prevention's Representative Office in Sharjah, announced that the heat exhaustion and disease campaign has entered its second week. The campaign has now reached Al Dhaid Club, targeting workers in various facilities across the city of Al Dhaid.
Hamad Al Mazmi, the media official at the Sharjah Prevention and Safety Authority, expressed gratitude and appreciation to the Ministry of Health and Community Protection and all participating institutions and departments for their involvement in this campaign.

Al Zarouni stated that the campaign includes awareness and educational lectures for the target group on preventing heat exhaustion and administering first aid. These lectures are conducted in multiple languages to ensure effective communication. Additionally, gifts, coupons, and smartphones are distributed to winners. He noted that field visits to workers' workplaces across various cities in the Emirate of Sharjah are also part of the campaign.

Hamad Al Mazmi expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Health and Prevention and all participating institutions and departments in the campaign. He highlighted the Authority's role in conducting awareness workshops on heat exhaustion prevention and operating the “Your Safety Bus” to promote preventive awareness, aiming to realise a vision of a safe society free from risks.

Al Mazmi added that the bus features a series of seven films, beginning with the fundamentals of occupational health and safety, covering daily inspection procedures and warning systems, and concluding with protocols for addressing hazards across different work sites.
