Sharjah24: As part of the first week's activities entitled "Here is Sharjah," participants in Al Dhaid Club's Sharjah Summer Sports Programme, which launched under the subject “Our Holiday is Different” visited the Arabia's Wildlife Centre in Sharjah. The Sharjah Sports Council, an arm of the Sharjah government, provided sponsorship for the event.
Visitors were given, on Saturday morning, the opportunity to explore a wide range of animal species and living organisms at the centre. The main goal was to educate and inform participants about these fascinating creatures, expanding their understanding of the animal kingdom.
A detailed tour of the centre allowed participants to explore various exhibits, including deer, tigers, desert animals, reptiles, fish tanks, and endangered aquatic creatures.
Attendees were educated on the Arabia's Wildlife Centre, a facility committed to safeguarding wildlife and focused on providing an ideal habitat for the reproduction of wild animals. Specialised centres are working diligently to preserve the natural habitats of native species.
During the visit, participants had the opportunity to observe a wide variety of animal species in a secure environment, where efforts are being made to actively protect them from extinction. They also observed different common regional animals.
