Sharjah24: The Friends of Arthritis Patients Association's Sports Committee Chairman, Adel Al Hosani, announced the launch of the "A Summer Without Osteoporosis" campaign, a collaboration with Al Dhaid Cultural and Sport Club. The initiative's goal is to raise awareness about the necessity of early detection of osteoporosis and encourage physical exercise.
In an exclusive statement to "Sharjah 24," Al Hosani stated that this programme is part of the association's efforts to raise health awareness and promote an active lifestyle in order to prevent chronic diseases such as osteoporosis.
The project involves a variety of sports activities, with an emphasis on bone and joint strengthening exercises overseen by healthcare and sports rehabilitation professionals. A team of physicians and experienced trainers will guide and assist all participants.
The association welcomes the public to participate in the initiative and benefit from the available check-ups and training programmes, emphasising that "A Summer Without Osteoporosis" is an excellent chance to enhance public health and raise awareness about the significance of self-care and disease prevention.
