Islamic Affairs distributes the Hijri Calendar for 1446 AH

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Islamic Affairs Department has announced the distribution points for the new Hijri calendar for 1446 AH, which is customised to the timings of Sharjah and its environs.

The calendar will be accessible via the department's branches and suburban councils.

The calendar cover features an image of the Al-Tayari Mosque, located on Corniche Street in Dibba Al-Hisn, inaugurated by Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi.

The calendar covers formal holidays, religious, and national events, as well as daily sections with prophetic sayings and scientific insight.

The initial distribution phase targeted mosques and government institutions, while the second phase, which begins Saturday, July 6, is open to the public.

Distribution outlets include numerous offices in Sharjah and the neighbouring areas, as well as an electronic edition available through the department's app and social media. Daily prayer time information is now available through WhatsApp.
