Economic Dept. Benchmarks Asset Management with Sharjah Police

Sharjah24: The General Command of Sharjah Police received a delegation from the Sharjah Economic Development Department. They were greeted by Major Abdullah Al Dahh, Deputy Director of Support Services at Sharjah Police; Major Hafiz Assad Al Ameri, who heads the Maintenance and General Services Department; and Captain Ahmed Abdullah Al Belushi, representing the Assets and Properties Department. The purpose of the visit was to familiarise themselves with Sharjah Police's best practices in asset and property management systems and to strengthen cooperation, exchange expertise, and coordinate efforts between both entities.
The visiting delegation included Nora Haji Al Zarooni, Deputy Director of Support Services at the Sharjah Economic Development Department; Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Jasmi, Head of the General Services Department; Ahmed Hassan Al Ali, Head of the Financial Affairs Department; and Youssef Ghalom Al Blushi.

During the meeting, the delegation learned about Sharjah Police's best practices in enhancing the security system, particularly in managing assets and properties to improve resource efficiency and sustainability. Discussions also covered strategies for asset classification and ownership, as well as the operational procedures within the newly established Asset and Property Department. Furthermore, the delegation received insights into the management of newly constructed buildings and facilities, and the sustainable fleet of vehicles and equipment that supports Sharjah Police's strategic objectives. Presentations were made on the international policies and standards adopted by Sharjah Police.

At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation expressed appreciation to Sharjah Police for their warm reception and acknowledged the fruitful partnership based on knowledge exchange and the implementation of best practices aimed at achieving shared goals for ensuring a sustainable and secure environment. The meeting concluded with an exchange of commemorative shields.
