The United Arab Emirates is a global model to be emulated in combating the scourge of drugs, thanks to its insightful vision and vigilant awareness of the dangers and damages caused by this menace to the core of society, which is the family. Therefore, this year's slogan is "My Family, My Greatest Asset," as part of its participation in the International Day against Drug Abuse.
To emphasize the importance of the International Day against Drug Abuse and to promote the principle of integrated police efforts and their synergy in the country to enrich the awareness culture among members of society regarding the dangers of illicit substances, the Sharjah Police General Headquarters continues its efforts to enhance security awareness among members of the community. This is achieved by utilizing all available resources, including human resources and smart technologies, in the field of security awareness to combat dangerous phenomena such as drugs, which seriously contribute to the destruction of the family unit.
