Sharjah 24: The Central Operations Room of the Sharjah Police General Command handled 34,684 calls during the Eid Al-Adha holiday. This included 28,649 emergency calls via the number 999 and 6,035 non-emergency calls via the number 901. The operations were conducted in coordination with relevant police departments and strategic partners such as the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority and Rafid Vehicle Solutions company, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
The Operations Room emphasised that despite heavy traffic on streets and roads during the holiday, motorists' awareness and adherence to traffic safety measures contributed to enhanced security, resulting in zero fatalities reported during the holiday period.

Sharjah Police urged the community to promptly call 999 in emergencies and 901 for non-emergencies or inquiries, as well as the new Raffad hotline 80092 for minor traffic incidents.
