SP participate in "INTERPOL’s 3rd Cybercrime Conf." in France

Sharjah24: The General Command of Sharjah Police participated in the "INTERPOL’s 3rd Global Cybercrime Conference" at the headquarters of the International Criminal Police Organisation (INTERPOL) in France from June 11 to 12.
His Excellency Major General Dr. Ahmed Naser Al Raisi President of INTERPOL, along with His Excellency Lieutenant General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Bahrain, attended the conference. The event was also attended by members of the organisation and representatives from participating countries.

The Conference focused on harnessing the potential of artificial intelligence programmes, aiming to combating crime, strengthening international cooperation, and enhancing security performance in response to the constantly changing security challenges and changes.

First Lieutenant Dr. Asheba Al Ketbi , an AI Technology Specialist and delegate of the General Command of Sharjah Police, emphasised the significance of the General Command's proactive participation in international security conferences organised by INTERPOL. These conferences aim to bolster international cooperation and enhance police capabilities and skills in combating cybercrimes and cybersecurity.

She mentioned that the conference covered different nations' efforts to create a secure environment for children through the use of modern technologies and the internet. The focus was on protecting them from cybercrime and preventing them from participating in such activities. The conference also discussed various methods to raise awareness using modern AI technologies and other topics that contribute to international security.
