SDPW discusses constructions at Al Dhaid Camel Race Track

Sharjah 24: Sharjah Camel Racing Club and Sharjah Department of Public Works (SDPW) held a meeting to discuss and evaluate the current construction work that was recently completed in Al Dhaid Camel Race Track; and to follow up on the progress of work.
The meeting was held in the presence of His Excellency Matar Ali bin Howaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of Sharjah Camel Racing Club, Engineer Ahmed Al Hosani, Head of SDPW Design Department, Engineer Muhammad Ali and Engineer Mahmoud Abdel Fattah.

Matar Ali bin Howaiden Al Ketbi confirmed that the meeting included an overview of the progress of work and what was recently accomplished at the Al Dhaid Camel Racing Field, including paving the field’s internal roads and lighting them, paving the field floor and building a control tower, as well as preparing and paving the camel processing sheds. Matar Al Ketbi praised the efforts and interest of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, in developing Al Dhaid Camel Race Field, so that it would have the same technical specifications of the UAE camel racing fields, to be among the most important camel racing fields in the Gulf and the Arab world.

During the meeting, the attendees were briefed on the plans for the construction works that had been completed at Al Dhaid Camel Race Field, and future plans for the final fields constructions.
