The municipality was keen to mobilise its efforts to serve visitors, highlighting Al Hamriyah as an attractive entertainment, environmental and tourist area, in accordance with the highest international standards in force. The municipality rehabilitated its facilities to serve people with disabilities and the elderly, while ensuring the safety of visitors, by strengthening public safety procedures to protect lives from drowning, and providing an integrated marine rescue system, equipping the beach to include observation platforms, specialised lifeguards equipped with the latest means, and providing a trained crew with the latest rescue equipment and devices, in order to maintain the safety of visitors to Al Hamriyah Beach and the beach park.
His Excellency Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, Director of the Municipality, stated that the municipality’s employees made great efforts, in implementation of the municipality’s strategic objectives and performance indicators, in providing an atmosphere of comfort and enjoyment for visitors to the area and spending an enjoyable time on Al Hamriyah Beach.
Al Shamsi added that the municipality’s work teams intensified their monitoring and inspection efforts, with their field teams, to raise awareness of the public within the framework of their direct communication with visitors to public facilities during Eid days.
