Al-Hamriyah Municipality has made efforts in the past few days to complete various arrangements and preparations to receive Eid days. The municipality's teams from various departments and divisions continue to implement their operational plans concerning the Eid period to ensure the comfort of residents and the reception of visitors and tourists around the clock.
Mubarak Rashid Al-Shamsi, Director of Al-Hamriyah Municipality, revealed that the municipality has been continuously working in recent days, aiming to cater to the artistic taste of road users and passers-by. The decorations reflect the festive and carnival atmosphere and the joy of Eid Al-Adha, based on special designs inspired by the happiness of the blessed Eid.
Al-Shamsi emphasized that Al-Hamriyah Municipality operates in accordance with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to provide the finest services in various municipal works. The municipality has intensified its efforts in the field of beach services in Al-Hamriyah area to welcome Eid Al-Adha. Additionally, it has enhanced public safety and security on Al-Hamriyah Beach by providing specialized lifeguards along the entire stretch of the beach, as well as rescue platforms and designated swimming areas. Moreover, it has provided watercraft for rapid intervention to prevent drowning incidents.
Al-Shamsi further stated that the specialized inspection and public health teams of Al-Hamriyah Municipality have intensified their efforts and measures regarding field inspections and visits to various markets, sales outlets, restaurants, cafeterias, grocery stores, beauty salons, vegetable and fruit stores, as well as confectionery and nut stores. This is to ensure the application and compliance with health standards and necessary requirements for the health and public safety of establishments during the blessed Eid period. These efforts are part of Al-Hamriyah Municipality's initiatives to ensure the safety of food and various products during the blessed Eid.
Al-Shamsi concluded by providing several tips and guidelines for beach visitors, including the importance of adhering to the beach instructions and informative signs available in multiple languages. He emphasized the need to follow the guidance flag indicating the sea conditions and swim within the safe swimming areas, to stay away from marine currents, and to avoid swimming when the red flag is raised or when there are high waves. He also emphasized the importance of supervising children during their beach visit.
