Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan praised the "Sharjah 17" boat for winning the third round of the Formula 1 World Powerboat Championship in Italy, noting it continues the successes of Emirati boats in the tournament.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the UAE Marine Sports Federation emphasised that the global achievements are a result of the unwavering support, care, and attention provided by the wise leadership to sports, particularly marine sports. This support has significantly contributed to placing Emirati sports at the forefront of the international stage in various disciplines, including the largest and most prestigious powerboat championships.
